So this is not a view you ever want to see. I tore my left Achilles today playing basketball. It’s just my body’s way of saying I’m old and that it’s time to officially retire from the sport. Luckily I was able to get into the orthopedist quickly and am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. #merrychristmas

Out of surgery and at home resting. The doctor said the procedure to repair my torn Achilles’ tendon went well. I’ll be in a soft cast for 2 weeks with no weight bearing and in a walking boot for 2 months. Then months of rehab to get #nbaready 😉. BTW @kcwhite987 has been a SAINT 😇 caring for me and the fam while I’ve been incapacitated. Special thanks to @csshean for all you’ve done to help.
